Part time job pop up

 

Looking for local or remote part-time roles that can fit around your studies? 
 

Join us from Monday 29 September to Friday 10 October for our Part-Time Job Pop Ups, taking place in King’s Gate Level 1. 

 

Throughout the two weeks of Pop Ups, you’ll have the chance to:   

  • Meet employers face-to-face: Engage directly with local businesses offering flexible roles  
  • Explore a range of opportunities: From hospitality and retail to marketing, healthcare, tutoring and remote working  
  • Boost your employability: Discover how work experience will help you develop transferable skills and build your CV

Over the summer, the Library team have been busy giving Level 2 of the Philip Robinson Library a refresh.

 

With comfier seating, more charging points, and a bright new design based on your feedback. 

 

Whether you’re working solo or in a group, you’ll find spaces that actually work for the way you study.

 

 

You’ll also spot some changes on Level 3, where essential law books, journals, and reports are now easier to get your hands on.

Come along to our very first START UP Pop-Up Shop and meet the student and graduate founders behind some of the most creative new brands on campus! 

 

Discover and shop their unique products and services, hear the stories behind their brands, and maybe even get inspired to start your own.

From 10 September to 10 October, Gateshead and Newcastle mark the Month of Hope — a suicide prevention initiative encouraging open conversations about mental health and emotional wellbeing. 

Through walks, webinars and community events, the campaign aims to reduce stigma and inspire hope. Whether you're struggling or supporting someone else, help is available.
