The University is committed to creating a safe and secure campus for everyone.

Here are some of the ways you can access support:

• Download the free SafeZone App, which lets you contact our Security team directly and get help quickly if you need it.
  

   

• Our University Security team is available 24/7 for emergencies on campus. Contact Security on 0191 208 6817.

   

• Attend one of our campus police officer drop-in sessions to ask questions, share concerns and get practical advice on crime prevention and personal safety.

   

• If you experience or witness a hate crime, sexual violence, harassment, spiking or initiations, you can report it confidentially using this form.
  
  

• Our Student Health and Wellbeing Service is here to help anyone affected by such incidents. 

Remember, everyone deserves to feel safe, respected and supported on campus.

The city’s biggest sporting rivalry is back.

Newcastle takes on Northumbria in Men’s Rugby Union at Kingston Park on Friday 25 September.

Be aware of Student Loan scams: The Student Loans Company is urging you to ‘stop and think before you click’ when responding to any unusual messages or communications about your student finance. Read more on the Student Noticeboard.

Explore the Sustainability Guide: Learn about Newcastle University's sustainability initiatives and discover how you can play a part in creating a greener campus.

Take part in our BioBlitz: Join us on Friday at Drummond Court to explore campus green spaces, identify plants, insects and other wildlife, and help contribute to the University’s biodiversity baseline. The event is part of the wider Campus Nature Challenge September.
