Make sure to check your University mailbox regularly and keep an eye out for your PGR newsletter - it’s packed with updates, tips and ways to get involved.
In this email, you’ll find everything you need to get started: key information, helpful resources and details of exciting events you won’t want to miss!
If you haven’t completed our pre-arrival course, we highly recommend doing so before you arrive.
In the course, we asked: “What word best describes how you feel about starting university?”
Most students said 'excited', but some also shared feeling 'nervous' or 'anxious'. That's totally normal and you're not alone! We’ve pulled together your top concerns and matched them with support and resources, including:
Money and budgeting
Living independently and staying safe on campus
Making friends and fitting in
We hope this helps ease your worries. If you need any extra support with issues impacting your wellbeing, please reach out to Student Wellbeing team.
