📢 NEPG 2025 - call for submissions

The North East Postgraduate Conference (NEPG) is the UK’s largest student-led conference for Biological, Medical, and Health Research. It is free to attend and hosts hundreds of postgraduate students from across the UK every year.

 

📅 Tuesday 4 November 2025 

📍 Newcastle University (in-person & online), Frederick Douglass Centre, NE4 5TG 

 

You are invited to submit an abstract for a short talk or poster presentation. Check out the Abstract Writing Guidance and submit yours by Friday 19 September 2025.

🍃 Student Wellbeing Adviser Drop-ins

The team of Student Wellbeing Advisers will be hosting weekly drop-ins at King’s Gate, running twice a week for the foreseeable future.

 

Split into faculties, the team will be on hand to offer advice regarding your wellbeing queries

 

Drop-in times:

  • Tuesday: 11:00 – 13:00
  • Thursday: 13:00 – 15:00

Check in at Level 1 of King’s Gate.

Congratulations to Suzanna Fitzpatrick, winner of the 2025 Chancellor’s Poetry Prize for her poem Repair. 

 

Students were invited to submit original work exploring the theme ‘making it new’, and we’d like to thank everyone who entered.
