📝Our PEC Policy has changed!
We understand that sometimes life events can affect your studies. If your circumstances are undermining your academic achievements, we’re here to support you. Personal Extenuating Circumstances (PEC) forms allow for appropriate adjustments to be considered for your assessments to help you get back on track.
You can submit a PEC if your difficulties are significant, unforeseen, unavoidable and relevant. You can self-certify up to twice a year without documentation. This returns the number of self-certifications for PECs to pre-Covid levels.
To find out more and read guidance documents, including the PEC Policy, please visit the PEC webpage. Support is available and we recommend talking to your Personal Tutor, School-based Wellbeing Adviser or the Student Advice Centre at the Students’ Union before submitting your PEC.
The IT Service (NUIT) are kindly giving away a brand new iiyama ProLite 27” touchscreen monitor to one lucky student!
To enter, simply complete the form below before the giveaway closes at 17:00 on Thursday 10 October! Be sure to also visit the Student IT Guide to see the range of services NUIT offers to support you with your studies.
