📝 Respond to Newcastle City Council's Canvass

Urban street in Newcastle

Newcastle City Council is updating the Electoral Register and needs to know who lives at every address, including student properties.

If you’ve received a letter or an email, please make sure you respond – it’s quick, important and legally required. Ignoring it could result in a follow-up visit from the council.

Registering will make it easier to vote and can help with things like credit checks. If your home address isn’t in Newcastle, you can register to vote at both your term-time and home addresses.
