Whether you're here for all or part of the summer, there’s plenty going on - from local events and activities to campus services and facilities that remain open.
The Academic Skills Team is here for you all summer long, offering expert advice and guidance through the Academic Skills Kit. Together with the Library Liaison Team, they’ll also continue to run the popular Your Skills programme.
Upcoming sessions include ‘Improve your referencing’ and ‘Editing your dissertation’ – don’t miss out!
The sun is shining, and the Careers Service is ready to help. Whether you’re wanting to get your CV in top shape or need some advice about where to take your career, we’ve got you covered.

We know that being a postgraduate student can feel quite different from your previous academic experiences and adjusting can be stressful. That’s why we want to make sure you know where to find our free support when you need it.
All of our usual wellbeing services, including counselling or disability support, are available to postgraduate students. We're here throughout the summer, Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00 (please note that there are no evening clinics during this time).
We've also teamed up with the Students’ Union to share resources designed especially for our postgraduate community! Check them out.
As a future Newcastle graduate, your voice matters! The Alumni team wants your feedback to help shape and improve the support we offer to new graduates.
