On-campus facilities: We have expansive research and teaching collections at the on-campus Great North Museum: Hancock and within the School itself, giving you a level of familiarity with artefacts which most university students could only dream of. There are also lots of dedicated study areas and computer clusters on campus solely for postgraduate students.
Field trips: Many of these postgraduate programmes include modules with field trips both in the UK and abroad. Visit the individual course page and look at the module list to see what’s available for your degree.
Modules from other disciplines: On several of these degrees, you can also take optional modules from other disciplines, schools and faculties within the University.
