Applying to us

Typically, we recognise a 75% average in Standard XII as comparable to ABB at A Level.

This can be awarded by:

  • Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)
  • Council for the Indian School Certificate (CISCE)
  • National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS)
  • various state boards
  • autonomous schools

After searching through many international universities which provide world-class education in my field of study, Newcastle was on top of the list. Studying at Newcastle appeals to me because it has a great track record in preparing young graduates.

If English isn’t your first language you will need to provide a recognised English language test or qualification. Typically, we require an IELTS score of 6.5, or equivalent, for direct entry to the University.

To study in the UK you will need to apply for a Student visa.

  • a valid passport or travel document
  • proof that you can support yourself in the UK, for example, bank account statements

You will also have to pay a healthcare surcharge. This allows you to use the National Health Service while you are in the UK.

Tuition fees
