After a hugely successful summer school in July, Newcastle University will once again be running a pre-university summer school for students preparing to apply for medicine for the 2025 academic year. Our summer school is for high-achieving students who are enrolled in the final years of high school. You must be aged 16 before the start date of this course.

The pre-university medical sciences summer school will run from Monday 8th July until Friday 12th July 2024. The deadline for applications is 1st May 2024.
Our medical sciences summer school students will be staying with us in Park View, in a private, en-suite bedroom. Park View offers modern, spacious 6 - 8 bedroom flats with each flat sharing a communal kitchen/lounge. There is 24-hour security and staff supervision.
International student fees for the pre-university medical sciences summer school are £1,750.00.
