Celebrating the Winter Break with Newcastle Universityby Newcastle University
It's been a strange year for all of us, especially young people. As 2020 draws to a close, we thought we would take this chance to wish you all a restful and happy Winter Break.
However you're planning on spending the Winter Break, do use this time to rest and recharge ahead of the new year. We understand that for so many young people, 2020 has brought lots of uncertainty and stress. If you have found this year particularly difficult, why not read our latest blog on self care tips for school and college students?
Making the most of your Winter Break
Recharging your batteries
From having to communicate with friends and teachers through masks, to keeping your focus during online classes, there have been a lot of new - and unwelcome - elements to your learning this year. It's normal to feel tired, or experience feelings of low mood as a result of these changes.
Plenty of sleep, fresh air and - if you can - reducing your screen time are just a few ways you can really get the most out of the Winter Break. Though this festive season won't be like any of the ones before it, do still try your best to find normality where you can and be kind to yourself.
Studying during the Winter Break and Covid-19
Being productive during the festive season isn't easy.
